Catching Fire - Review

I just watched Catching Fire on Saturday. I thought the movie was preety awesome and therefore I gave it a 8.5, probably the highest rating I gave to a film this year. My favourite thing about the movie is probably how close the story is to the book, like you know all the characters, and what we'll happen next. The scenes looked extremely real, and they were just like I imagined it when I was reading the book. The movie skipped some minor parts from the story, and added some inspiring dialogue, but nothing really important regarding the story. Also, the acting was solid with both new and old characters. Jennifer Lawrence did a great job as Katniss, as well as Josh Hutcherson playing Peeta. Also the new characters also had solid performances like Sam Claffin as Finnick Odair. OVerall the movie was prettey awesome except for the fact they put way too little on the actual battles and the field. where in the book it was like 2/3 of the movie. Catching Fire is a must watch.
