1. Research the movie before you watch for ester eggs, director, cast, etc.
2. Try to listen to the soundtrack, this is ussually pretty important for the movie.
3. Look for the major theme in the movie, or to any references about politics.
4. Talk about the movie with someone, or if you watched it alone, write your thoughts.
This is pretty much what I do after I watch movies. Try it and comment how you did below.
