Pain and Gain Review 6.8/10
Pain and Gain finnally came out in my country!! For some reason the cinema didn't show it, so not many people got to enjoy this film. I think the film is pretty good, and totally surprised me. The acting was really good, especially Mark Wahlberg's and Dwayne Johnson's roles. You would'nt expect this kind of actors (maybe from Mark Wahlberg) to be able complicated characters so well as we see in this film. Mark plays a over achiever bodybuilder that thinks he is like a God, while Dwayne Johnson plays a ex convict bodybuilder that became a hardcore Christian. The story revolves around this two guys, and a third partner named Adrian (played by Anthony Mackie), that want to live the American Dream. They of course try to do this by stealing with a plan Daniel (Mark Walhberg) made. The plan would have been brilliant if there would have been one: it was kind of improvised. Its actually pretty entertaining once you watch it. Also, this movie is based in real life, and is directed by Michael Bay which is weird because it doesn't have that many special effects. The story, acting, and directing, made me give this movie a 6.8 out of 10. You should watch it if you get a chance.
